I recently bought the new Lenovo yoga 700 and had a problem with the driver. I found out that a generic intel driver that came with the unit and the 'right' driver needed to be installed. The tech over the phone loaded the right driver for my machine, which begs the question as to why the right driver did not come installed to start with?
Also, I was having what the tech called 'ghost punches'. Has anyone heard of this and is there a fix?
The tech said that the new driver may fix the issue. Gary

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums.
Regarding the ghost punches/ghost touch, there were some isolated issues for that issue on some Yoga 700, in addition to that, there is also a fix for it. Please see this thread.
About the Intel driver, it may be possible that the it was the latest version when it was manufactured. Meaning, latest drivers available today may not be available that time. There may be few instances that due to bugs, driver manufacturers are releasing updated driver versions to address/fix the issues existing on the previous versions.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for responding so quickly. I uploaded the suggested firmware as my Yoga revealed the LG monitor as described in your reply.
I hope this fixes the problem. Thanks
