I have seen a second-hand Lenovo Yoga 700 14iSK i77-6500u on the interweb but it's got a Spanish keyboard and I was wondering if I fitted the keyboard from my recently broken down same Yoga type but with its UK/US keyboard whether it would work? I'm guessing it won't but I'm sure someone on here will know for sure.

This may work specially if both machine share the same model number and if both uppercase cover (includes the keyboard) part number is listed in the FRU's here in the hardware manual (item2 page 62-63).
To get the part number upper case of the machines, you can use the serial or MTM machine type model from the sticker here.
Anyways, a spanish keyboard is almost the same as the english ones where the sticker tool may be a simpler solution if in case.
I hope this helps answer your query.

Thanks for the help spidey101,
Looking at the hardware manual if the keyboard of the one I saw is genuine Spanish then it looks like it will have a different FRU number so would that mean that I could still fit the UK one onto it? I'm not sure what it means in the manual when it says
"Each FRU is available for all types or models, unless specific types or models are specified".
I have asked the seller to send me the serial # and MTM number to check.
If I can't use my UK keyboard on it then maybe like you say the differences to the Spanish one might be small...I need to either Google or maybe ask Lenovo!
