It had been a while since I charged my computer so I assumed it was dead. I plugged it in and the charging light is on. However pushing the power button does nothing. Holding the power button for like 10 seconds causes the caps lock light to flick on and off and then the charging light turns off for a bit and then turns back on. I pressed like all the buttons so it’s not that the brightness is down or something. Um what do I do

Welcome to the Community Forums.
In addition, perhaps trying to connect the machine on an external display/monitor pressing on F10 to toggle display can help isolate display issue.
Shutting down the machine and using the novo button (item2 page 10) with unfolded paper clip should also power the machine on and show the Novo menu in the built in screen.
Update us how it goes.

have you tried to remove the battery and the mainboard and connected do the AC Adapter and tried to power it on (with no battery and no Memory).
if the mainboard started beeping, it means you might have a memory problem.
if nothing occures, then you need a mainboard replacement.
i have faced the same issue on my Thinkpad T470 and after several diagnostics, it turned out that the mainboard went down and i had to replace it
