Yes, I tried all suggestions in this post to no avail.

Product number: 81JRCTO1WW

Problem happens regardless of audio origin (iTunes, web, voice recorder, windows notification chimes)

Thanks for providing your device's details @ kjrst9!

Please try uninstalling your Yoga 730's Audio driver that's located in the Device Manager.

Right-click on the Start/Windows symbol to open the Device Manager window then click the arrow that's next to Sound, video and game controllers to remove it.

Once done, restart the Yoga 730 laptop then download the Audio driver through this link.

Aside from that, download the latest version of BIOS and Intel Chipset drivers to your device, restart it and test it again.

See if there's an available Windows update as well and download/install it.

Thanks,

@Adriel_lenovo
Sadly, none of those suggestions improved the audio quality.

Thanks for providing an update @ kjrst9!

You may also read on this previous post to see what other users have done towards this concern.

One of the step that's been provided in there is to rollback the Intel Smart Sound Technology under System Devices or have it uninstalled instead.

Should the steps given in that post didn't worked, it would be advisable to get in touch with our Lenovo phone/technical support for further recommendations towards this concern and for them to investigate the issue more especially if it's a possible hardware concern that might require repairs.

Please click on this link to get their contact details and provide them your device's details as well for them to check its warranty entitlement.

Hope this helps.
