Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 13

Hi My Lenovo Yoga 13 has stopped taking a charge. It happened about two days ago and has not charged since. I even took it to a local Best Buy and attempted to charge it with a different charger but no dice.

I'm pretty sure I need to set up an RMA to send it in but I have been stuck on hold with Lenovo for 1 hour and 15 minutes now without any kind of response.

 

I'm hoping someone on here can offer some assistance. It's difficult to post to this forum from my smartphone.

Seems like you'll need a RMA. Visit http://support.lenovo.com. There should be options for support chat, support call back. 

Or to call them directly, call 1-877-453-6686. 

Lenovo Forums is a peer to peer group, so there might be no response from a Lenovo employee here.

Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.

 

Sorry you haven't received a reply as quickly as you would have liked, but this is a peer to peer forum it can take some time for the right person to come along with the right answer; forums in general usually require a little patience.

 

However you can try doing these things:

 

  1. Unplug AC adapter (remove from notebook).
  2. Remove main battery
  3. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds (power drain)
  4. Replace main battery
  5. Replace AC adapter

Update us how it goes.
