So here is a new one: I have a Yoga 910 that has had many networking issues. It appears that if I unplug the computer from my USB-C dock (the dock still has power), the dock network connection freezes my router. This is repeatable, and annoying. As soon as I powered down the dock (by unplugging it), the router starts working.
I am using an ASUS RT-AC5300 "mother of all routers" (when I bought it), and it has been rock solid until I started with my new Yoga. It is running the latest firmware, and I have updated the firmware on the dock as well.

Hey jdturneriii, were you ever able to fix your problem? I just ran into the same issue with the same dock and as far as I know, the firmware is all up to date.

I gave up for now. I went to 1 monitor directly connected to the front usb-c port. We are moving anyway and I was told to "declutter" my desk to show the house. I will deal with this when we land at the new house.
I am tempted to give up on the Lenovo dock as it seems to have to many issues. See my other post about the network issues that my Lenovo dock caused. Thinking about trying this: Plugable USB-C 4K Triple Display Docking Station. Reviews state rock solid performance, plus it will handle 3 monitors.

In my situation, I called Lenovo and they RMA'd the dock. Must be a known issue as they shipped me the new one with barely a question asked.
New one works perfect, no more network issues.

I don't think it's the router, as in my case it was connected to a 24 port Trendnet switch, that was connected to a modem.
My suspicion is the dock is sending a short which is nuking the network.
