Sorry to reply you late.

System update alone is different from Vantage.

It use WMI and Vantage does not use it.

And WMI is not working correctly on your system.

So System update failed to detect current installed driver version.

And it considered this driver was not installed,

so it showed this package every time.

We suggest you to ignore this package.

And in the future release, we will change system update to not using WMI.

Hi Massimo,

WMI is a windows function.

For some reason, same files may be corrupted.

There is a script in below post to repair windows WMI from just_an_it_guy.

You could try if after WMI files are repaired, if this issue could be fixed.

I answer to myself...No, unfortunally it does not make any difference to uninstall and reinstall the System Update App... I hope my problem will somehow be fixed "automatically" with some future Windows update (?)  Thank you again for your help, pls let me know if you have any other helpful info that may help.

No, uninstall will make no difference.

And system update will upgrade itself when you launch it again.

It is not from system update.

Actually, you installed vantage , no need to  keep or wait for system update fix .

They will do the same package updates.

That's right I can use Vantage to install updates, no need to keep System Update App  (can Vantage update BIOS as well though?)
