Lenovo Yoga 15 (Yoga 730-15IWL) fingerprint sensor issue

Hi there,

 

My fingerprint sensor has stopped working. All drivers are up to date.  I have unistalled Synaptics driver and reinstalled 2 Sept 19 driver to no avail.

 

Any ideas?

Hi @iopk,

 

Sorry for the late reply.

 

If the problem has not been resolved yet you can download the latest fingerprint driver at https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/es/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/yoga-series/yoga-730-15iwl/download.... Usually the fingerprint scanner stops working after an update messes up with its driver.

As per my original post, I have already installed the latest driver but the scanner still does not work.

Just asking as it makes a difference, but did you download the fingerprint driver from the same link I provided? 

What is the current version of windows do you have?

Yes, I did re-install the driver using the link provided in your reply.

 

I am using WIn10 Home 64bit.
