Re: Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro reverse scrolling direction

Thanks mikey, that saved my day.
Not only I can now reverse the scrolling direction, but the drives is so much better, the original one is just full of bugs. And Lenovo is not putting out a fixed version some 6 months after the original release. Shame!

I just got a Y2P. The natural scrolling is annoying. So is the lack of the ability to reverse it.

Is everyone still doing the same fix of installing the Yoga 1 touch pad driver?

No one has posted here since April. I was hoping Lenovo would have put an update out by now to address this.

Here you go: https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Idea-Windows-based-Tablets-and/Tutorial-Yoga-2-Pro-Fixes-and-Tips/td-p/1745539

Everything you need ^.

Once you install the generic driver, enter the settings and set the scrolling to reverse or not, depending on your liking.

So Bit Torrent's link takes me to a "topic not found" page, and the "original solution" Link has me enter in product informaion that I don't know to find the driver. I am still searching for a solution to this problem.

First of all, thanks very much indest for the prompt reply! Sorry for getting your name wrong earlier.

Second of all, I don't currently see a link in your signature. This frustrates me, because when I originally saw your first comment, I could see two links. The second link brought me to a chat board, I believe, and I couldn't find what I wanted there either.

Is the internet out to get me, or am I just being incredibly dense?

Thanks once again indest!

Mikey, thank you.

The link is no longer valid but with some searching was able to find it.  The current link is:  http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/yoga-series/yoga-13-notebook-ideapad?TabName=Downloads  The file name is 0ttp18ww.exe and the driver # is:  17.0.8.4

Thanks, for posting this.  It was driving me crazy and just took time to investigate the problem.  You must uninstall old driver, install new driver, then reboot.  I tried to install over current one and it did not work.  Also the F6 ket still works after installing.

Perhaps you can try installing the latest Yoga (1 not 2) touchpad driver.  Lenovo just released a new one:

I installed it on my Yoga 1 and it allows me to reverse the two-finger scrolling direction.  It also presumably does all the Yoga-specific stuff like disable when the screen is folded, etc.

I will say thanks to Mikey and above post (Denverh) - Used same driver and got to the setting, with some annoyance.
