Lenovo Yoga 300-11IBR shows only 30 GB of Hard Disk

Hi Guys and thanks for helping out!

My Lenovo Yoga 300-11IBR shows only 30GB of Disk Space even though its supposed to have 500GB - what can I do? I already checked with the disk space manager but in the analysis nothing wrong showed up.

Thanks in advance,
Fraukeh

Re: Lenovo Yoga 300-11IBR shows only 30 GB of Hard Disk

Hi Fraukeh,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

We can check with more details if you can share the MTM (machine type model) from the sticker or from  the parts lookup page using your serial number.

Try to check on disk management ( Windows+R to open Run, type diskmgmt.msc ). You can share it in the post so we can analyze the partitioning of the drive.

Update us how it goes.

Regards

Re: Lenovo Yoga 300-11IBR shows only 30 GB of Hard Disk

Hi Fraukeh,

Greetings.

I see that there is really no mistake as it show here on the parts lookup that there is no 500 GB harddrive or any M.2 SSD storageAn emmc 32GB is soldered onboard with this variant only.

You can also verify this on the BIOS information page if any other storage is detected aside from physically opening it. With this case, it would be best to call in the store and check with them your the order.

To start the BIOS setup utility:
1 Shut down the computer.
2 Press the Novo button (item3 page 13) and then select BIOS Setup

Update us how it goes.

Regards
