Hello, all! About 7 months ago I have brought a Lenovoy Yoga 500-14IBD which has been working fine until now. Now I have an unrepsonsive portion of the screen. It is very wierd. I will illustrate with a screenshot:
As you can see, on the right side of the screen I draw some lines using touch screen which are interrupted on a very well delimieted portion. If I draw the line from left to right, when it enters that portion of the screen, it doesen't write anything, but it works normally when I get past that region and it continues to draw the line. To be more precise the touchscreen doesn't work in the given area:
I have calibrated my screen using windows 10 settings, but it didnt' help. The problem is there even on Ubuntu. I am guessing it is a hardware problem. Should I take my laptop to my warranty service or is it a different kind of problem?
Thank you in advance for your answers!

Welcome to the Lenovo Community !
Sorry that you are having problems with your laptop. From what you have described it would appear that a section of the touch screen has failed. I would recommend that you contact Lenovo Support for additional warranty service.
