Lenovo Yoga 510-141SK touch screen Not Working

2019-09-16, 18:12 PM

I have just reset my laptop back to factory settings due to not being able to get the touch screen to work, it didn't succeed.

I'm curious as to what to do next as the attached screenshot is baffling me due to it saying 'not connected to the computer'.

I also had to get the HID compliant touchscreen to show up by View> Show hidden Devices

Any advice would be very welcome as having the touch screen not working is very frustrating.

Hi ,

Sorry for the late reply as we just joined the boards, but if you are still having the same issue please let us know.

Hi ,

There is one simple way to test if the problem is hardware based, Access the Novo Menu using a paper clip to press the button inside the pinhole shown as number 6 below.

Select Onekey Recovery and test the touchscreen if you can navigate by it. If it does work here then it's software related and if not then it's a hardware problem and would a physical repair.

Hope this helps  and let us know how it goes,

Jeremy
