Lenovo Yoga 510-14ISK Arrow Keys mapped / layout wrongly on Keyboard

After searching on this forum for a solution to the above problem, i found this useful tool http://www.keyboardtester.com/tester.html in this topic https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Yoga-Series-Notebooks/Yoga-510-14ISK-quot-%C4%B1-quot-quot-o-quo....

 

After using the keyboardtester, i noticed that my arrows keys in all directions were simultenously but erroneously also activating the DELETE key when pressed. This meant that whenever i am typing and  i press any of the arrows keys, I end up also deleting some of the letters I had typed (see screen shot below).

 

How do I switch off the linkage between the DELETE Key and my Arrow Keys? Your help is appreciated in advance.

So clearly there is a problem with the hardware side of this keyboard.

 

I tried remapping the keys in the registry and found that the DELETE function still carries over to the new mapped keys.

 

Then I discovered that the Fn Key does not work at all. F6 Key does not work at all as well. As in these two keys do not send any electrical signals that are recognisable by the computer.

 

Is there a driver or firmware that can be reloaded so that the keys are mapped properly. If so, please provide the link to the driver.

 

I have tried searching for a driver online but I have not been able to find one.

Welcome to the Community,

 

It is a sign of a hardware problem when the same issue happen when using Keyboard Tester. If you haven't created a backup in registry before applying the changes, restoring it wouldn't be possible. There's no available driver for the keyboard in our support website, but we can try uninstalling the current driver in Device Manager and restart the laptop afterwards. Otherwise, restoring the laptop to the point before changes was apply will be our next step
