My keyboard stopped suddenly working. First the mousepad froze and when I got it working I realized that the keyboard isn't working. When I try to click anywhere it immediately starts typing "zzzzzzz..." and won't stop. I am currently using my laptop in tablet mode. I was able to type a, q and 1 when holding down the letter z, but I updated the bios and now nothing works (I was previously also able to 'disable' the letter z, when holding it down with the buttons next to it). Could it be possible to fix the problem or should I give up and take it to repairs?

Hi annuska ,
Welcome to the Community Forums.
The way you describe it appears more like a stucked key and it would be best having it checked further by technical support as it hold warranty.
You may also check the "z" key for foreign materials or use an compressed air can to clear out if not to physically check on the key along its side if the internal button is not on its immediate place , pressing it to feel any incongruency .
I would not suggest disassembly as warranty do not require you to perform it.
Hope this help answer your query.
