Lenovo Yoga 510 battery can only charge up to 34% of its capacity

2018-07-18, 1:24 AM

Hello.

I seeking for help on this issue. I bought my Lenovo Yoga 510 about seven months ago, and today when I opened Lenovo Settings to check for updates, I saw the disclaimer that my battery can only charge 34% of its original capacity.

Is it possible that a battery in its proper condition can detereorate like this in such a short period of time, or should I claim for a warranty solution?

I would call support.  They will most likely ask you to run a battery guage reset.  If after reset its still like that and laptop is under 1 year old and under warranty in my opinion they will replace battery.
