As a game developer I wanted to point out a couple of quite big problems with the Lenovo 530 Ryzen Mobile laptops, I hope this can gain some traction and eventually reach the developers of drivers- and BIOS'es at Lenovo.
For those of you who feel that you have the same kind of problems, please click on the "I have this problem as well" and give it some kodus. I really think that this needs to be adressed in future driver- and BIOS revisions.

Agree! I'm using Flex 6 with ryzen 2700u, which is the US version of Yoga 530. It will be really hepful if we can increase the vram size in bios. 256MB vram is too little to be usable. Even powerpoint will get freeze when I'm trying to playback some video inserted (which can be played smoothly on even an 2012 imac).
And of course, if the tdp can be increase to 20 or 25 when the laptop is plugged in.

Wholly agree, I also need these issues fixed. If it weren't for these issues this laptop would be perfect for me. I've already recommended this laptop to a friend and he bought it and faced the same issue with 256mb vram on adobe photoshop. Other applications issues will follow suite.
We need more options from insyde bios unlocked, VRAM ammount; TDP and disabling STAPM completely when using performance mode. 25W TDP while on AC adapter is really not unreasonable for it's active cooler + chassis passive cooling.
I don't face as many performance issues as I had at purchase with the newest bios, but now I have trouble with very slowed going to sleep after closing lid and waking up/startup time after reset. (8PCN50WW).
Thank you for initiating this thread, I will be following closely.
I hope we have improvements to this issues soon.
