Lenovo Yoga 700 11 autorotate not working. Kindly need help.

Hi all,

 

Just bought a Lenovo Y700 everything is lovely but autorotate is not working.

I've checked the autorotate, it was not locked. Tried to uninstall/reinstall HID sensor. Reset windows 10 (although for some reason it wasn't able to delete all files); and still it does not work.

 

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Please update the Lenovo Yoga Mode Control. You can download the driver from support.lenovo.com.

I downloaded the mode control again as recommended.

Still it is not working..

Hi, 

 

When you said that you check the autorotate, was it the physical button that you checked or the system setting? I just remembered that this unit has a physical rotation lock button on the right side near the volume rocker.

I just tried the physical button as well. going from on/off for autorotate lock.. Still not working..

Hi again, 

 

Please try updating this driver WUDF Register. If this does not work, I would recommend doing a factory reset using Onekey Recovery. If issue persist after the factory reset then the unit's sensor needs to be replaced. If the unit is still under warranty, please get in touch with Lenovo Warranty Support, you can do this by clicking on the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page under Support. 

 

Note: Onekey Recovery will delete all the contents of the system.
