Having purchased two of this laptop, I am having a frequent problem with the network adoptor on this. What I have done:
a) check the update network drivers and receiving the latest is installed message
b) deleting the three network drivers and letting the OS (windows 10) install, which it did, and the problem persisted.
c) uninstalled and downloaded the drivers from Lenovo site and installed it. No avail.
d) installed the downloaded driver without uninstalling; no help.
I am now considering changing the adaptor and don't know how. I don't know what to buy and whether it is as easy as opening the back and clipping out the old and pushing in the new one or what. I had only three months warranttee and I bought from Groupon on March 15, 2017.

Welcome to the Community Forums.
Did you have the same issue connecting to a different router/location?
Was it happening since you first got it or even if you have tried resetting the factory image?
You may call them at any time 877-453-6686 24 hours/day 7 days/week.
To check the part number of the network adapter, use the parts look up page.
Use the part number to check pricing and availability at Lenovo encompass or use the same part number to search online with other resellers.
For the replacement guide, you can use this hardware manual (page38).
Herewith is the Lenovo service training module for visual reference too.
Hope this help answer your need.

Thanks Spidey101 for your reply. I checked the manufacturer link and it says that it has no warranty. As to your questions:
Spidey101: Did you have the same issue connecting to a different router/location?
Dara: Yes, I did.
Spidey101: Was it happening since you first got it or even if you have tried resetting the factory image?
Dara: Yes but I was addressing it using reboot, and the corrective measures mentioned. Now that I am giving this PC to my son to continue his accademic work, I just thought of sorting it out once and for ever.

I was hoping it would have the same 1-year manufacturer warranty as other new systems.
Technical support would be able to check it using the serial number.
Since you have 2 of these model, swapping with the good WLAN adapter would verify if it is the point of failure.
