Lenovo Yoga 700 HID compliant touch screen no longer in device manager

My Lenovo solution center recently sent out a code saying my INTEL HD graphics were not up to date. After I updated it (to INTEL(R) Graphics 520) my touch screen stopped working. I looked to see if  my HID complient touch screen setting was turned off after the update, but I found that it no longer in my HDI tab. How do I get this back?

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

Try to download the Video and Chipset drivers for the unit from the support page.

I'm afraid the driver isn't avaliable for me to download from the lenovo support page. I had tried seaching it but didn't get any results. Is there anywhere else I could look?

Hi ilerya, 

Can you try going into the BIOS and load bios defaults. You can do this once inside  the  BIOS by pressing FN + F9. Then press FN + F10 to Save and Exit. If this does not work, please post the model number of the system so we can get you the right download link.

I've reset the BIOS defaults but the HID C.T.S is still not in my devices. I personally cannot locate a model number because I threw my laptop's box out about 6 months ago without taking a photo of it first. I can senda private message of a any other product number? Will any of those  help?

Hi, 

 

You can get the system's drivers from support.lenovo.com. Just type in the serial number of the system when asked. The next page will provide the system's information including the MTM/Model Number. The serial number of the system should be on a sticker on the bottom of the laptop.

It would really help if you could tell which section should I be looking for HID-complaint touch screen driver, what is the driver file name?

I have also same problem with touchscreen after last windows10 update. it doesnt work and cant find in device menager. I have downloaded Video and Chipset drivers for the unit from the support page and also tried BIOS defaulst as you writed. but still doesnt work. can you please send me the driver for Lenovo Yoga 700 HID compliant touch screen or is there any solution?

I have been seeing that this is a problem for a lot of Lenovo Yoga users. I contacted Lenovo several months ago and they wanted me to send my laptop in to them, but I would of been out of a computer for a month. This is the only computer I have and i wouldn't of been able to do my job for that month. It seems like Lenovo should of done a recall for this issue seeing how many people are having this problem. Now my laptop is out of warranty, and if i wanted to get it fixed, I would have to pay them out-of-pocket, even though it's there fault. And I would still be without my computer for a month or more.
