Lenovo Yoga 700 M.2 hard drive upgrade.

Just a little gripe, I have a Lenovo Yoga 700 and was very disappointed to learn that the 512gb hard drive in this unit cannot be upgraded. I tried several m.2 drives but it would not recognize any of them...I would like to go to 1gb and was looking to buy the 910 but if this is what I have in store for me..I will look somewhere else... is there any work around for this or has anyone had any luck finding a drive that will work. . It is an M.2 Drive.

Re: Lenovo Yoga 700 M.2 hard drive upgrade.

What type of M.2 hard drive are you using, and which Yoga 700 do you have?

There's a size difference between the 11 inch and the 14 inch, and both uses the SATA 3 interface. Using a PCIe drive won't work.
