Normally I have to hold down the fn key and then a function key in order to do something. For example I need to hold fn and then click F1 if I want to mute the sound. Today all of a sudden, I did not have to hold down the fn key anymore. This means that the ways fn and the function keys interact have switched. I was wondering why this would have happened out of nowhere and if I should be worried?
I have looked all over and I definitely have not accessed the BIOS and fn+esc just changes the screen to paper display.
How could I have changed the way fn and the function keys have been working?

Just got a Lenovo Yoga 710-15IKB, and I want to toggle function keys. The only way I found without messing with BiOS as is suggested in other posts, is Start / Lenovo Settings / Function Keys. Then you can click on Hot-Keys or F1-F12. If the app is not on the start menu try the Store.
