I just bought this laptop 2 days ago, and i really am impressed with how it performs. The only problem i've incountered earlier this morning is that some of the keys in the keyboard didn't work (the P,Z,C keys). I left it on sleep the night before.
After i restarted and remove my mouse from the laptop, it suddenly works again.
My question is, is this showing some sign of malfunctioning keyboard? I don't want to always have to restart my laptop and doing all the steps above. Any advice?

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
Might be some sort of power error situation.
Try a static discharge for this, it may help to resolve the issue or at least get rid of any built up static on the motherboard.
(If the battery is internal, please just skip the remove/replace battery steps.)
1. Turn the unit off
2. Remove the battery and the Mains adapter
3. Press and hold the front power button for 30 seconds
4. Replace the battery and the Mains adapter
5. Turn the unit on as normal
Also, Try to download the Keyboard (If available) and Chipset drivers for the unit from the support page.
Make sure to reboot after an update on the unit.
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

I have the exact same issue described here, with the same laptop model.
In my case, the keys that do not work as expected every single time after the computer leaves the sleep mode are: asd jkl
Only a restart of the computer seems to do the trick.
I have all the latest windows updates to date and also the latest drivers and bios firmware version available from the support website installed.
