I have a Lenovo Yoga 730 with a Realtek 8822BE nic but it constantly drops the network and Windows says "The default gateway is not available". I have tried unchecking "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". I'm currently running driver v2024.0.2.101 which appears to be the latest available.

Some users report better success with an Intel 8265 card.
If you wish to troubleshoot what you have, there are a number of things to check. First, see if the computer fails somewhere else... at work, public hotspot, etc. If it works elsewhere, that's one set of issues. If it fails everywhere, that's another.
Make sure your router is running the latest firmware. Unless you really need it, disable older 80211 compression schemes, such as 80211/a, b or g. N and ac should be all you need with current devices.
Update the BIOS on your computer using Lenovo Vantage, which will update other drivers, as well.
Other things to try:
Set roaming aggressiveness to 3 or below
Inside your Power Plan, set the WiFi adapter to run at "maximum performance" on both battery and plugged in.
Force the computer to stick to 5Ghz.
Keep us posted.

I saw this mentioned in another post. I downloaded the zip file, updated the driver with it, so far so good.

I updated mine to v2024.0.5.103 as suggested in https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-11e-Windows-13-E-and/Lenovo-E580-wireless-problem/m-p/4359239#... and it seems to be working fine since then.

realtek 8822be wireless lan 802.11ac pci-e nic keeps disconnecting your wifi - very frustrating
things you have probably tried:
switched off power save setting for wlan in device manager. tried windows troubleshooter. tried a fixed ip address. disabled hotspot 2.0 and your still have not fixed it.
open device manager try rolling back the driver to this version 2023.70.109.2018
if you cant roll back the driver find it and download then uninstall the driver restart the laptop and install the old driver.
this was the driver version causing the problem

Recently my laptop auto-updated to driver 2024.0.8.101 and after that chrome always says DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET. And it was working fine on v2024.0.5.103 as suggested in https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-11e-Windows-13-E-and/Lenovo-E580-wireless-problem/m-p/4359252
