I am facing lots of problem with my new Lenovo Yoga 730 . Almost everyday, I get "Battery Plugged in and not charging" and after lots of manuvers ( reinstalling drivers, restarting, replugging and sometimes praying...) it begins charging. I don't know what works but the problem resolves itself for a day and it occurs again . I have been dealing with this for 2 weeks now.
When I take the charging cable off and replug it, it charges for exactly 5 seconds and goes back to "Not charging". My laptop is new (Bought in September this year). I have also got remote assistance for this problem, even reinstalled Windows.
Someone suggested me to buy a new cable. My cable looks good to me, it is not even bent at any place.
Is the laptop faulty? I have never faced so many problems with a new laptop. Please help.

What level is the battery at when you get this message?

I start getting it even at 99%. The problem has again resolved itself and now it is fully charged.
When I take it off plug, it doesn't charge and shows that message. I don't know what makes it work again.

"Plugged in, not charging" above 90% is by design. Once it drops below 90%, it should charge back up.

Yeah, that one caught more than a few of us by surprise. Now, if you get that message at, say, 20%, then you can start panicking

I knew it was over 90%, just couldn't remember if it was 93 or 95. Thanks.

What does it mean at 20% - That is what my computer is doing right now.
You show "plugged in, not charging" at 20%? First guess would be the charger. Are you using the charger that came with the 730?
