Lenovo Yoga 900 13ISK

2018-02-07, 16:58 PM

I own a Yoga 900 13ISK. First simptom I saw was that the charging led was lit, even after the Yoga was shutdown. That led is white all time (Except when it goes under 80% and it starts to blink).

Second simptom, with the ac adapter not attached, if I check the power status, is says AC adapter is attached. Vantage says that the battery is in good condition.

Third simptom, in first months of use, I could work up to 6-9 hours on my Yoga. Now, I see that in 10 minutes I lose 10% of battery.

I see that, when I attach the ac adapter, it is charging, up to 100%, nothing else seems to be wrong.

Thank you,

Hello  CiprianMR

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

You could try to turn off fast boot / fast startup:

For the battery issue, Try a static discharge for this, it may help to resolve the issue or at least get rid of any built up static on the motherboard.

(If the battery is internal, please just skip the remove/replace battery steps.)
1. Turn the unit off
2. Remove the battery and the Mains adapter
3. Press and hold the front power button for 30 seconds
4. Replace the battery and the Mains adapter
5. Turn the unit on as normal

However, it sounds like that the battery may be failing. So if that is not helpful, I`d recommend that you get in touch with your Lenovo support line for a possible repair.

Below is the link to the phone list where you can find these numbers.

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
