I bought a third-party USB-C to ethernet adapter to test my internet speed and found that it is not much faster than if I use the wifi. I always thought that LAN speed is faster than Wifi? Or is there something wrong with my cheap (US$20) USB-C to ethernet adapter?
Hope to gain some insights at this forum for this first-time Lenovo user.

I too have a $20 USB-C to ethernet adapter to use with my Lenovo Yoga 900 while travelling, so your post intrigued me. I just booted up my 900, and found 48 Mbps using my house wifi, and 100 Mbps using the adapter with a direct cable to the house router. Any way to check on what your LAN speed is directly on another computer?
