Re: Lenovo Yoga 910 - PCI Express Root Port Errors

I have had a few BSODs in my Yoga 910 and noticed that I have constant PCI Express Root Port errors, several per minute. I updated to the latest graphics and chipset drivers and I think all the other drivers but it continues. Any thoughts?

A corrected hardware error has occurred.

Component: PCI Express Root Port
Error Source: Advanced Error Reporting (PCI Express)

Bus:Device:Function: 0x0:0x1C:0x0
Vendor ID:Device ID: 0x8086:0x9D14
Class Code: 0x30400

Note - if I disable my Qualcomm Atheros network adapter, the problem goes away until I enable it again

Re: Lenovo Yoga 910 - PCI Express Root Port Errors

Thanks - just read it. I tried the MEI driver update also, but no luck.  I'm getting the error several times per minute. I wonder if most people are getting it but are unaware because they haven't checked their event viewer

Re: Lenovo Yoga 910 - PCI Express Root Port Errors

I'd bet money on that. I keep digging the 'net for fixes, and all I find is advice to roll it back to out-of-the-box and start over. Which, being a Best Buy build, I can't do, I don't think. Once Windows updated to the anniversary edition, any hope of going back to the recovery partition seems to have vanished. Luckily, the WHAN flood doesn't seem to impact performance, at least for my uses. Guess I'll wait and hope for an update that fixes it.
