Hi
I recently purchased the lenovo yoga 910, and am really happy with it.
I have a problem where if I shut the computer for a few min (or even less) and open it again, the screen doesn't turn on even though I can see that the computer is on (the keyboard is lit up and the power light is on). Sometimes it takes a few minutus untill I can press a key and then it'll turn back on.
I'd apreciate any help in resolving this issue...is there a setting that I need to change regarding sleep mode?
Thank you

Hello Karina100
Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
Try to download the Video and Chipset drivers for the unit from the support page.
Make sure to reboot after an update on the unit.
Also, Try a static discharge for this, it may help to resolve the issue or at least get rid of any built up static on the motherboard.
(If the battery is internal, please just skip the remove/replace battery steps.)
1. Turn the unit off
2. Remove the battery and the Mains adapter
3. Press and hold the front power button for 30 seconds
4. Replace the battery and the Mains adapter
5. Turn the unit on as normal
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

When this happens, have you tried pressing the power button? Sometimes, mine will wake up with a swipe across the touchpad. If I'm away for a few minutes, the power light will be on, but the keyboard won't wake it. The power button, however, does. If I'm away a really long time, the power light flashes and I have to press the power button and log into Windows, again. I'm happy with this standby-sleep-hibernate setup, so I haven't tried adjusting the settings. If briefly pressing the Power button WORKS for you, then it could be something you can fix in settings.
From the start menu, go to Settings > System > Power and Sleep. I have mine to turn off the screen in 5 minutes on battery, 15 plugged in. I have the Sleep settings the same way.
From Power and Sleep, choose Additional Power Settings, then select "Choose what closing the lid does." See what your settings are, there. For mine, all four dialogs are set to "sleep." You could try changing those or changing the Power and Sleep settings. Remember where you had it in case the new settings makes things worse.
