We've problem with the Yoga C930, that's gets very hot when it's charging, both on the bottom and on the top in front of the soundbar, and we can also feel the heat between the kyes. Is there a known solution to this problem?
It's a new pc, and all drivers are up to date including the BIOS.

The laptop gets too hot while charging. The laptop gets heated to such a high temperature that I cannot use it as laptop. The heat can be felt from the keyboard. I have to charge it without using it so that temperature of laptop is significantly low.
If there is any solution please let me know.
I hope Lenovo has a solution to this flagship yoga product.

I just received Lenovo Yoga C390 a week ago. When I plugged it for charging and was going through the setup, the notebook became really hot. It was hot at the bottom as well as at the top. How can this problem be solved? Please let me know if anyone was able to solve this problem

I'm experiencing the same issue too.
I've measured my laptop with a termal gun, and the temperature is as high as 53°C
Hope we wil receive an official answer from Lenovo before our PC melt.

After this was posted, we contacted Lenovo directly. They recommended that the bios was updated, so we tried that. Maybe it helped a little bit, but we still have th same problem. Right now, our solution is to not use the laptop while charging, which of course is disappointing for a flagship laptop! Right now I don't have the energy to do much further, but I hope we'll receive a solution at some point!

I've the latest 8GCN32WW bios version dated from 10th of January, and nothing new since as far as I know.
The SSD is also getting really warm, the inside cooling seems to be a bit poor.
