can anyone confirm if this is the issue? I'm having this on a Yoga 9i 4k i7-1185g7

For anyone who doesn't dare. The screen glitches, shows random artifacts and flickers on and off only after wake from sleep.
What I was able to figure out so far is that:
- windows version doesn't matter. I tested 1909, 2004 and 20h2.
- intel graphics driver version doesn't matter. I tested everything I could download from the intel website.
- I have another Yoga 7i with an i5-1135g7 and used the driver from that one just for giggles. Same issue.
- I tried disabling S0 sleep state and using S3. It won't wake up from S3 so that's a no go.
- Temperature of the laptop seems to matter.
The only time it doesn't do it is when it's warm to the touch. If the bottom plate is cold to the touch and I wake it from sleep it glitches like crazy .. unusable crazy. Once it warms up glitches and flickers go away. I can even put it back to sleep and wake it again and it won't do it. Once it's stone cold and I wake it from sleep it starts doing it again.
It doesn't do it if I reboot it regardless if it's cold or warm. That is maybe also why it doesn't do it in BIOS.
I'm still not sure if it's a hardware or software issue. The temperature thing may be in my mind only.
Short comparison to the Yoga 7i: I got the 7i first for myself coming from a y740 (rtx 2070, i7-9750h) on which I never really gamed so I got rid of it and started looking at something more "practical". I looked at all kinds of battery and CPU benchmarks because I mostly do coding and want it to last a lot of time. Lenovo seems to have kind of the best battery life out there (for the money that is) on the Tiger lake. My wife started eyeing my 7i so I figured why not give it to her and get the 9i for myself. 4k, i7 ... awesome right? Nope :) the i7-1185g7 benchmarks ~5400 points in r23 while the i5-1135g7 benchmarks ~5900. Temperatures are higher on the 9i and the fans just never stop. The 7i is dead silent. The battery is smaller on the 9i and it shows when you actually use it. So the only thing better is the screen .. which glitches. I think you should just get the 7i. It may be the best value for the money. Better performance overall, better battery, more silent. What was I thinking?
