I would like to preface this by saying that I have spent a lot of time trying to figure this out myself and I would greatly appreciate your help.
My laptop is a Lenovo Yoga (Machine Type Model 20CDX00) that has problems with shutting down and sleeping sometimes.
The problem started after I restored my laptop with a clean copy of windows 10. I installed all of the drivers and I also updated my BIOS. I noticed that sometimes my laptop would not shut down completely and the battery would just drain in the blank screen that I couldn't do anything about. This also happened with sleep to. Not all the time, but sometimes. I tried to turn of hibernate and also fast start-up. But, that did not work. I, then, restored my computer again and I tried to reset the BIOS to the original BIOS. I am still having these problems even after the restore which makes me believe that the BIOS is at issue becuase it is ROM and would not have been changed by my restoring of the laptop. But, I did try to reset the BIOS to a previous version. So, I am stuck and I do not know what to do.
