Lenovo support broke my Windows 10 OS license

2017-02-18, 10:17 AM

Warranty service replaced BIOS on my Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 3 laptop (service order #7024609337). As a result OS was downgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 8.1. I have contacted Lenovo multiple times: Within same email thread about the warranty support and through official service request web form. NO REACTION! Not a single reply! Except ofcaurse request fill in a form and evaluate the service.
Is this Lenovo strategy to wait for warranty to expire and leave buyer with broken Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 3 laptop and old OS?

I think it is stated quite clearly, that this ugprade is intended for very specific purposes.

I bought a Lenovo laptop with particular BIOS key, and to this key I have a license for Windows 10. Lenovo warranty service without asking or clarifying removed this key thus invalidating the license I had in the moment of purchase.
