My Yoga had a black line appearing on the screen and it was replaced by Lenovo. Now the same problem has appeared again.
The line is thick and black appearing 3/4 into the width of the screen. Occassionally it is strippy white.
On some occassions a little tap can make it go away (but not much anymore) and rarely after the laptop has been on for some time the line will dissapear.
Any help would be appreciated.
Is this likely the screen, the power unit or what?

Welcome to the Forums Forest.
There is a connection tape along the width of the laptop with a contact for each row of pixels. The tape has delaminated from the panel. This is usually caused by someone squeezing or twisting the panel.
Also, check is issue persist on external monitor?

Hi I have the same problem and I guess it is indeed the tape as with the external monitor there is no problem at all.
Do you know if I need to replace the whole screen or there is any other fix with the connection tape?
