Lenovo yoga 500 random popping in speakers

Hello

I have bought an exhibition yoga 500-14 with 8gb ram 256gb ssd geforce 940. Every some time I do something (for example opening a new tab in chrome) one of my speakers (randomized, usually left) make a weird loud pop noise. It also can be caused by opening fix sound problems or somewhat. Help please!

EDIT: Also, it only happens when the laptop is on battery.

Re: Lenovo yoga 500 random popping in speakers

If you swap to the High Performance power profile, does it go away or reduce in severity? What about disconnecting from wifi?

Re: Lenovo yoga 500 random popping in speakers

Solution 1. Switch to High Performance
Solution 2. Modify your current power plan: go to pci express power managment and disable both

Does turning off or disconnecting from wifi help?
