Mouse buttons not working when keyboard in use

Lenovo Yoga 710 - I have games where I need to use the arrow keys and press and hold the left mouse button at the same time. The mouse buttons stop working as soon as I press anything keyboard key. I have adjusted settings, turned off all touchpad options with no luck.

Re: Mouse buttons not working when keyboard in use

Hello SessaRuth

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

I believe that this is the Palmcheck on the touchpad that is causing the conflict. This basically tells the unit to not use the touchpad as long as you`re using the keyboard, to prevent you accidentally moving it with your Palm.

1) In you control panel, click the pointing devices / touchpad icon, and select Pointing Device Properties.
2) Click the "Device Settings" tab.
3) Select your touchpad
4) Click Settings.
5) Expand Pointing
6) Expand Sensitivity
7) Select PalmCheck
8) Adjust the sensitivity slider until you can move the mouse while pressing a key

This should hopefully do the trick.

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
