Never buy a lenovo c940

My unit came with defective thermal sensors and keeps thermal throttling down to 0.39 GHZ even when there is no load, I contacted to fix it but they never got back to me; I'm super busy and covid hit so I didn't have the option to get it repaired in-store; not the warranty is up and well the product is still a 2000$ crap shoot. I mean I expect when paying that much to have a product that doesn't have glaring issues right out of the box

However, you may check back with our Lenovo phone/technical support team for them to provide the status of your ticket and receive the latest update(s) from it as well.

 

You may call our Lenovo phone support at 877-453-6686 from Monday - Sunday: 8AM - 8PM EST or may click this link instead for other contact options.

 

Please provide them your Yoga C940's serial number for them to check its warranty entitlement and contact records/histories as well aside from providing the ticket number that were given to you before upon contacting them.

The C940 is terrible on so many levels but Lenovo don't care. They should be recalled but then this year's model has most of the same issues.
