I have a new lenovo yoga 720 but the screen brightness is dim even at 100% eg white has a slight brown tinge. I've tried the following:
After all the above. Nothing changed.
Solution to this would be appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the Community Forums.
In addition, check if you have same issue when connected to an external display.
Shutdown and use the novo button (item 5 page 10) to go the BIOS screen.
If you have a good display on the external but the same dim screen on the BIOS, then I suggest you call in technical support for a possible LCD panel/cable issue.
Hope this helps answer your query.
Update us how it goes.

Attached is a picture comparison of HP Spectre 13'' (2015 version, product ID L3A02PA#ABG) vs. Lenovo Yoga 720 13'' (BIOS Version/Date LENOVO 1YCN21WW(V1.06), 14/04/2017)
Lenovo at max brightness (Right laptop). I have calibrated this to get rid of the yellow tinge. See attached:
It seems very strange a laptop 3 years older is brighter than Lenovo's. It has a dimmer display in comparison.

It might be bios related, did you try loading BIOS default settings?
If no, might want to check this:

I'm wondering if you had found a fix for this?
I have exactly the same issue where the screen color is really warm (yellowish) and really dim (even at 100% brightness).

It hasn't gotten better. Lenovo yoga in general seems to have a dim display. i saw the 730 yogas and just as bad. Very disappointed on lenovo

Hello everyone, I was able to get the sceen brighter. Go into the UEFI Bios;
Goto Configuration; Change "System Performace" from default Intellegent to Performance.
Save and exit Bios.
My screen is twice as bright now.
