I recently purchased a Yoga 2 pro, and it worked perfectly for a couple days, but unfortunately now the left side of the touch screen does not work.
I have tried uninstalling the touchscreen driver and reinstalling it, I've installed up updates and recalibrating the touch screen, however it seems the entire left side of the screen is just completely dead and cannot interpet touch.
Should I return the computer and get a new model? Is there anything else I can try?

Try shutting down the PC by holding the Power button. "keep the power button held down 15sec after the screen turned off".
Also try Uninstalling
Under Human interface devices in Device Manager uninstall all that starts with HID.
then restart the computer.
If that will not fix the problem still. I suggest you call the reseller or Lenovo to report the Issue and ask for your options.

Two things you will have to check from them.
Return policy and your warranty coverage.
If you aim to return / replace the system ask them what's the time period.
If you aim to have them check the system and repair.
Ask them about the warranty terms, so you can decide if you can delay the warrnaty claim if you really need the system as of the moment.
