I find it ridiculous that a computer that cost me $1600 only runs for four hours on battery. And to think that Lenovo claims it runs 11 hours. Pffft. I can't even get half of that

Has anybody found any other solutions? My model doesn't come with the gtx 1050, and even if it did, I would still be angry that I spent extra money on something I'm not able to use because the battery dies too fast. I have the intel HD 620 graphics, and just using the laptop for work and basic internet use, I only get about 3-4 hours of use out of it. I do have to use the screen brightness at 100%, because otherwise the screen is to dark to see.

My laptop's battery does not last long at all. It lasts for about 2 hours. I got the 4k screen, and I was forced to lower my resolution to 1080p. I make sure I run low-performance mode on the battery and even then I receive about 3 hours of battery life compared to the promising 9 hours on 4k and 11 hours in 1080p. I understand that the battery life advertised on the website is tested in the best possible conditions. Regardless I don't get half of the duration as advertise.

I have the Lenovo Yoga 730-13IWL. I have had it for 3 weeks. Running nothing but a browser with one tab open, I get 5 hours and 44 hours with my battery. This is really ridiculous. What is the point of a light weight laptop if you have to keep in plugged in.
