When I turn on my Yoga laptop (2 years old) I receive an error message that says “C:\windows\systems32\config\systemprofile\desktop is unavailable...” I can’t do anything on the computer. How to I restore my desktop/windows so I can use the laptop?

You'll most likely have to either create a new user account or reinstall windows. Step-by-step instructions for both solutions are here. Though, depending on your model of Yoga, you can use One Key Recovery to restore your Yoga to out-of-the-box condition. You don't mention the model.

Don't own one, so I'd need to look it up. Did you try the new account?
