Good day.

Please provide more information about your device, otherwise it will be difficult for the community to assist you. The full machine type-model number (MTM) from the underside or under the battery is best, but please do not post your serial number which is normally in the same location. We will also be able to confirm that your post is in the proper forum.

Regards.

Hello @ salemdigger !

Thanks for posting here at the Community Forums!

Check if your Yoga C740 laptop's charging status indicator still lights up when it's plugged to its AC adapter/charger.

It should show either a solid white light that indicates that the battery capacity is at 91% to 100% or solid amber light that indicates that the battery capacity is between 1% to 90%.

If it shows a solid amber light, try charging it for like 3 to 4 hours for it to get sufficient charge then try turning it ON again afterwards by pressing the Power button that's located in the right-side view of the Yoga C740 laptop.

Please take note of the power indicator light as well upon pressing the Power button.

If it shows a solid white/amber light, it means that the device is ON while if it's blinking slowly, that means that the Yoga C740 laptop is in Sleep mode.

Should the machine is in Sleep mode, try pressing the Caps Lock key or Enter key to see if it will respond or will wake up.

If the steps above didn't worked, you may try pressing its Novo button instead that's located underneath the Yoga C740 laptop.

Make sure that it is OFF first before pressing.

Update us how it goes.

Thanks,

Adriel_Lenovo
