Not able to adjust brightness

I am not able to change the brightness on my screen when using the battery or when plugged in. It is stuck at the brigthest option even if I decrease the brightness via the function key on my keybord or via the control panel. My display and monitor dirvers are up to date and are both enabled. Battery saver mode is not turned on. Please let me know how I can resovle this issue.

Hi,
What device do you have? What OS are you running?

Re: Not able to adjust brightness

Click on the notification icon in Windows 10.
There should be a 'power saver' icon. Is it on?

Re: Not able to adjust brightness

I don't know about that model, but some machines of a similar age will not do brightness changes if screens are replaced with some aftermarket (non-Lenovo) screens.  The eeid (little chip inside the screen with configuration parameters) doesn't contain the needed information regarding brightness settings.
