Computer: Yoga 13
When purchased: Christmas of 2012.
Problem: Recently I discovered my computer in the bottom right when you hover over the battery icon states "Plugged in, not charging". And well enough, my battery charge is stagnate. It neither rises or falls when plugged in. And while funtional, as a college student this completely screws me for notes.
I looked around, and one solution offered a temporary fix: To temporarily uninstall the batteries from the Device Manager, and scan for hardware changes to reinstall them. This worked for a few minutes, but randomly stopped working. Repeating the solution didn't seem to work. Currently, my battery information has the following two battery information bits in it;
Microsft AC Adapter
Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Control Method Battery
I have not had issues with the battery or laptop until now. The battery charger is largely undamaged, except for the rubber protecting casing around the wires having naturally (being bent or whatever) pulled away. The wires appear fine. And it has been exposed for some time.
I'm not sure what to do here. Suggestions would be welcomed.
