Hello Andry892

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

Try to download the Chipset drivers for the unit from the support page.

Make sure to reboot after an update on the unit. See if that can help at all.

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

I'm afraid Fredorama is right in https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/forums/v3_1/forumtopicpage/board-id/ll06_en/thread-id/41637 - this is a hardware issues (design flaw or production problem). I've had this issue for some months - it comes and goes and rebooting, disabling/re-enabling devices, reinstalling drivers etc. are all temporary measures to make it work again after a HW glitch. Pysically handling the casing around the touchpad can also "fix" it for a while. I guess I have to return it for repair, which is a drag, since I use it daily.

Updating chipset-drivers didn´t fix it on my Yoga 3 pro 1370.

I fixed it by "disabling driver signature enforcement"

Hi,

I know this thread is an old one but i encountered the same problem with my Yoga 3 Pro touchpad the other day. I switched the laptop off at night and then the next day the mouse just didn't respond and the touchpad button's also didn't work. I immediately looked on the forumns for help and saw it was a common problem. I tried all of the solutions, which included uninstalling the I2C HID which was showing as a fault - Code 10 in the Device Manager. Didn't work. Tried updating the driver with the latest one on the Lenovo website. Didn't work. Tried disabling it and re-enabling it. Didn't work. Hit a brick wall really.

I did find a solution that worked for me today. I was just about to open up the laptop and check the touchpad ribbon cable as some people had done this. I didn't think it would be  that though as others that had found a solution that worked for them had done so via software.

So just before trying that i decided to try one last thing. Mind you i'd already used the restore option and rolled back the driver and all had failed.

My solution the one that worked for me at least was to shut the machine down as per normal. NOT deleting the trackpad beforehand , that is leaving the I2C HID showing in the Device manager as code 10 fault. Restart my machine booting directly into the BIOS through the special pushbutton next to the powerbutton. I believe its specially for booting into recovery or BIOS. I then just pressed F9 which loads the default settings. Mind you i've never been into this BIOS before and therefore nothing has been changed. I then chosed the opton F10 i think to save setting changes on EXIT. Low and behold as soon as the machine rebooted the mouse pointer was working from the touchpad.

Try it it may work for you too.

Hope it helps. Cheers

works like charm. follow the following links to disable the signature
https://www.howtogeek.com/167723/how-to-disable-driver-signature-verification-on-64-bit-windows-8.1-so-that-you-can-install-unsigned-drivers/
then reinstall the synaptic touchpad driver
