Hi all, this may be a very basic question as I am not very technical... I have just today started using a Lenovo IdeaPad Yoga 11S. (It is Windows 8 with basic Office for home and students loaded on.
I've been sent a video quick link via Media Silo I need to watch and make notes from. For some reason, I cannot maximise the video so it fills the IdeaPad screen. The bottom half of it is off screen so I cannot ff or rw or use the slide to change position.
Any suggestions most welcome.

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!
I’m sorry to hear that the online video is not playing in full screen mode in your Yoga 11s Laptop, please ensure that the display driver is installed and the browser is installed with Adobe Flash Player so that the online video feature can be used, below is the link to download the display drivers if it is not installed and also the link to download the adobe flash player for the computer.
Hope this helps!!!
Do post us back if the issue persists.

Many thanks for replying so promptly.
It turns out this is a manufacturing flaw in Windows 8, so nothing to do with the Idea pad itself, but I appreciate you suggesting some solutions.

I've had an IT guy where I work check out my Lenovo IdeaPad and my problem isn't, as I thought it was, a windows 8 flaw.
I have downloaded the drive as you suggested and it has not solved the issue either.
When I set a picture as my desktop wallpaper, it has not resized to fit the screen, though it is on the highest available resolution. Likewise, when I try to watch a video link, only 2/3 of the video is played on the ultrabook screen and there is no way to scroll down or maximise it. the bottom third of it is not visible and it is skewed to the right of screen.
The IT guy here thinks it may be a problem with the capacity for screen resolution on the settings not being high enough - it is currently on max. I have downloaded updates and that makes no difference.
Can you advise further when you have a moment?
