I have been using my y2pro I7 for about a week and wifi has been pretty solid. Before I got this PC my other laptop had been dropping wifi continously, and I messed with the router's security settings which made this issue go away.

Riverwinn, If you are asking me, I went with a Cisco router. I had a net gear router, and it was a piece of garbage. This has been the best router that I have ever bought. Mine is a LINKSYS E2500, which I bought a while back ago(a couple of years 1-2 yrs). It has been my experience, that Cisco routers are the easiest to set up BTW.

A Best Buy rep told me the same thing - if strong/solid internet connection is important to me that I should get another computer. I thought to myself... when is a solid internet connection NOT important? He recommended Samsung instead and said Lenovo has a lot of WIFI issues and it's inherent to their brand. Total Lenovo sales support fail. LOL.

I was the initiator of this post, and after updating my driver and restarting I have had no problems (except one incident at a cafe, where I had to restart). So it seems to be resolved for me, although I'm hoping to be positive before my 15 days are up.
