Is this a problem with all Y2P or just a few ones? System recovery or change router settings you think would work or I should ask for replacement?

this sucks

But this is a mechanical problem with the wifi adapter or a future driver update would fix the problem? I ask because I`m still in time to use my warranty and give back the pc or ask them to fix by replacing the adapter.

I have no issues at all and we really need to stop pointing the finger at Lenovo.  Good way to test this is connecting the Y2P to a G router. Does the connections drop? If not, then this is not Lenovo's fault.

This wifi drop seems more prevalent on N routers. Therefore, it is either Intel or Win8.1 issue (I've said this many times before within this tread).

That could be a G router. Do a Google search for the model (likely under the router). Are you dropping connections on that?

I too have a G router for testing purposes.  You have to make sure your router is set to WPA2 Personal with AES encryption.  This setup gives me no drop connections on my G router.  However, on my N router it is more of a challenge. I think some of the Intel drivers causes some sort of conflict OR Win8.1 is not communicating accurately with N routers.

That means that my intel wireless card doesn`t have any defect? So asking for a replacement would not do anything?
