You can easily swap the old card when you need servicing. The only way they find out that you went inside to your computer is when you scratch something or you tore off the Lenovo sticker that hides the screw needed to access the system board.

I know I can upgrade the card by myself but I don't want to lose the warranty of the device. But thanks much for your answers.

That's why my first suggestion was to exchange the unite until you got a working one, as it only two weeks old.

As cbatius2 said, if I need warrenty I would just swap out the WiFi card again.
Again, for the record I never had issues with my original card. I did the swap because I wanted the advantages of an AC card.

I suppose when people tested this unit and gave it such rave reviews, if they help on to it long enough to discover the crap wifi, they would have had some not so nice things to say. -Matt

Or perhaps, like me, they never expieranced WiFi issues. You speak as if every Yoga 2 has WiFi issues, which is obviously not the case. If you look at teh reviews on Amazon and other laces most poeple are faily content.

Of course for those of you that do have issues, that is of little consolation. I'm just trying to bring a little perspective.

If your having issues and are with in the exchange/return period I would exchange it until you get a working unit. If not get them to fix it under warrenty and make them make it work. I know no one really wants to send their laptop in, but waiting for a driver that will fix it for those that are having issues dosen't really seem to be working.

personaly my Y2P works perfectly fine and I have no complaints. I'm sorry for the issues a bunch of you are having.

@RojasTKD, I'm glad you are not having issues, but this thread is really for the people who ARE having issues. We are having a lot of trouble getting help and input from Lenovo and you could help by stepping away from the thread so Lenovo doesn't have to wade through meaningless posts to get to the solid information about what we have tried in our efforts to fix this. I am not trying to offend you, but the thread is for the people who have issues, not the people who don't.

Mark, the Lenovo community admin, could please give is an update on this issue? It is clearly happening with both Intel and Broadcom cards. Do you have your suppliers looking into it?

So far as I can tell from reading this thread, the issue occurs with both Intel and Broadcom wireless cards. The issue has not resolved regardless of driver updates or updates to the operating system. Lenovo initially engaged on this thread, but has long since exited and appears to be no longer reading. When I get some time I will call Lenovo support and see what they recommend, if anything.

Like several other people on here, I bought the AC card.
http://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00DMNSVQM/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

it was really fast to install and worked first time.

I internet speed test when from 25 Mbps to 107 Mbps. (I have 150Mbps service)

5GHz is working totally stable so far. I would say that the antena is not really tuned for 5GHz though. At least 3 or 4 dB loss in that band. But..still is way better than the card that it came with.
