Guys, the speaker issue is a hardware issue. There is a little ball switch used to detect the headphones. In your situation, the switch is stuck in the inward position. You must unjam the switch.
How many of you guys are out of warranty.

Well in theory, you can try to unjam the switch. I have done it a few times by rapidly removing and plugging in a headphone jack until audio starts to play thought the speakers.
another way is to use a tooth-pick and LITTLE super glue.... but this is going to the extreme.
Another solution would be to create a software where one could use a hotkey to switch between both headphones and speakers.

I can make a hotkey switch if someone finds me a registry/cmd fix.
I might look into tonight. If I find something, I'll make a program and post it on my site.
...or I might just add it to the Yoga Patch with an option to enable the fix (for those with this issue).

hey i had same problem issue. last weekend, I visited in Lenovo A/S center S Korea.
today I just get my yoga and work property. they said "it just had caused sound board problem, so we replaced new one". thus, I recommended changed new borad.

I just bought yoga 2 pro. also have problem with audio. plugged in headphones but no sound comes out. sound continues to come out of laptop speakers. can any lenovo staff summarise the troubleshooting actions?
