Screen brightness not adjusting since driver change

On 31st Jan 2019 the screen driver was automatically updated. Since then, i can no longer adjust the screen brightness. Any suggestions?

Re: Screen brightness not adjusting since driver change

If you've tried everything, then roll back your driver update. Go to device manager, display adapters, Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620, driver tab, then click roll back driver.

Let me know what happens.

Re: Screen brightness not adjusting since driver change

Unfortunately it was a scheduled driver replacement. There is no option to roll back and I do not know what the previous driver was.

^ Scroll down to "Resources", click on "Get Downloads" under drivers and software, then type in your specific laptop, go to display, and download Lenovo's Intel drivers.

Re: Screen brightness not adjusting since driver change

Thanks so much, that did the trick! Still do not quite understand why the scheduled driver update put in a driver that did not quite work but all working beautifully now. Really appreciate your help!

No problem, glad it worked. Hopefully, it wont update to that driver again.
